About the Position

Job Title: RN Infusion Profession: RN Infusion Specialty: RN Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience with insertion and maintenance of peripherally inserted catheters, central lines, and peripheral IVs Description: The RN Infusion will be responsible for inserting peripherally placed central venous catheters, central lines, midlines, and peripheral IV catheters. They will monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. This role serves as a resource regarding insertion and maintenance of vascular access devices and related procedures. The RN Infusion will evaluate the status of interventions and patient goals for the purpose of reassessment, revision of the plan of care, and discharge planning. They will provide instruction and information to staff, patients, and their families regarding the use and care of peripherally inserted catheters, midlines, central lines, and peripheral IVs. The RN Infusion will be required to wear ceil blue scrubs. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred. BLS certification is required.
