Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients, focusing on their unique presenting issues. \n
- Engage clients through both individual and group therapy sessions to address specific mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches. \n
- Conduct screenings and provide referrals for more detailed assessments as needed, ensuring comprehensive care pathways. \n
- Act as a crisis intervention specialist, coordinating efforts and responding to emergencies to achieve optimal client safety and care. \n
- Collaborate with families, care teams, and community resources to create integrated care plans that facilitate access to necessary services. \n
- Monitor the progress of clients, documenting their treatment journeys through timely record-keeping and reporting, in compliance with ethical guidelines. \n
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences, sharing insights and strategies to enhance service delivery. \n
- Engage with community stakeholders to foster partnerships that can broaden service outreach and improve care delivery. \n
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate crisis interventions and on-call responsibilities as required. \n
This role primarily focuses on clients experiencing severe emotional disorders and major mental health issues who require hospice and supportive care. You will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that their unique cultural, social, and emotional needs are understood and respected throughout the therapeutic process.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with a current LCSW license in the state of New Jersey. \n
- At least 2 years of previous clinical experience, preferably in a mental health or hospice setting. \n
- Expertise in risk assessment, crisis management, and treatment planning for diverse populations. \n
- Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to connect with clients empathetically. \n
- Demonstrated organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving in clinical settings. \n
- Competency in understanding developmental needs and treating age-specific issues for all patient populations. \n
Experience working with underserved populations and familiarity with the specific challenges faced by clients navigating severe mental health concerns is preferred. Knowledge of integrating mental health services into broader healthcare models will be considered an asset.
Compensation and Benefits\nThe annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
