Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in San Diego, California, to join a dynamic employment litigation team. Duties Manage a docket of Wage & Hour Class Action and PAGA matters with senior attorney support. Develop case strategies for state and federal court matters in California. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and mediation briefs. Conduct legal research and analyze complex issues. Take and defend depositions. Represent clients at hearings and mediations. Collaborate with legal teams to resolve cases successfully. Communicate with clients regarding case developments. Contribute to trial preparation and critical litigation phases. Requirements At least two years of experience in Wage & Hour, PAGA, or Class Action matters. Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar. Strong litigation, research, and analytical skills. Persuasive written and oral advocacy. Sound judgment and ability to navigate complex situations. High level of ownership and attention to detail. Experience in depositions, mediations, or motion hearings preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications California State Bar membership.
