Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 5 years of hospital experience preferred License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS preferred Must-Have: Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing Description: Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Acts according to professional standards and state regulations while reinforcing the health center mission. Completes nursing database and care plan with concise and pertinent information and reports findings to the physician. Performs nursing procedures and interventions safely, efficiently, and with technical skill. Safely defuses anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage. Identifies patient learning needs and provides education. Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of delegation. Effectively utilizes information provided in annual training and follows the nurse practice act.
