Title: Metrology Field Service Supervisor
Location: Florence, SC 29501
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000

Founded in 1964, we are a precision manufacturing and services organization specializing in advanced machining and metrology solutions for customers with high-tolerance and quality-critical requirements. We support industries such as automotive, aerospace, and heavy industrial manufacturing through both in-house precision machining and on-site metrology services. As we continue to grow, our facility in Florence is seeking a Metrology Field Service Supervisor to serve as the on-site technical lead, ensuring precision measurements, alignments, and installations meet engineering tolerances while supervising field personnel for safe and efficient execution.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead precision measurement and alignment activities using advanced metrology tools to ensure installations meet engineering tolerances and specifications
• Serve as the on-site technical authority, providing hands-on guidance to field crews on alignment, measurement, and installation requirements
• Supervise and coordinate field service personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards
• Manage job-site coordination, including drawing review, safety meetings, work sequencing, and communication with plant and project stakeholders
• Document measurement data, alignment results, and job progress through accurate field reports and final installation records

What You Need for This Position

• Strong background in precision measurement, industrial metrology, and equipment alignment within heavy industrial environments
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, tolerances, and specifications
• Experience leading or supervising field service crews
• Willingness to travel
