Full Stack Software Engineer

Salary: $87,600 - 146,000 per year Requirements:

• We typically look for 2+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• We need experience building web applications or data processing systems.
• We expect familiarity with web technologies and deep experience in at least one common programming language.
• We look for experience across front-end, back-end, and database technologies.
• We value the ability to design software that meets functional and technical needs and to communicate those designs clearly.
• We need someone who can think creatively and critically while working with product owners, data scientists, and designers to develop solutions.
• Preferred but not required: an interest in using technology to improve healthcare and clinical research.
• Preferred but not required: a strong team mindset and humble approach.
• Preferred but not required: familiarity with our technology stack, including Vue.js, Java, Groovy, Grails, Kafka, Micronaut, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Preferred but not required: professional or academic experience in a related field such as healthcare, biology, or genomics.
• We require a 4-year degree in computer science, engineering, another STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• We provide and receive feedback through code and software design reviews, learning from one another while delivering high-quality software.
