Come join us on our journey!As an Area Maintenance Manager, you will transform workplace environments by leading a dynamic maintenance team that ensures safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. In this critical role, you'll develop maintenance strategies, solve complex challenges, and create a supportive work culture that empowers technicians to perform at their best. You will blend strategic planning, hands-on problem-solving, and team leadership. But wait, there's more: We provide lightweight fire-resistant daily wear and composite toe safety shoes for your safety!Key job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers, fostering professional growth and performanceEnsure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities across the siteDesign and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs that enhance operational efficiencyManage and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standardsMonitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics and partner with applicable team to address system performance issues and provide analysis across all operationsBasic qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time experienceWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays4+ years of industrial maintenance experience2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience2+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experiencePreferred qualifications:Master's degree, or Six Sigma Black Belt certificationExperience working with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integratorsExperience maintaining material handling equipment and integrated systemsExperience in project managementExperience with statistical analysisAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
