Registered Nurse PCU - Open to Cross Train - Lewisville, TX

Job Type: Full time

Shifts: Days and Nights

Differential: Nights $3.75 - Weekend $4.20 per hour

Licensure/Certifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. Compact license is accepted.
• Current Healthcare Provider ACLS and BLS issued by the American Heart Association required.

Education:

• BSN Highly preferred
• Will consider ADN candidate if candidate has several years of experience, must be enrolled for BSN within 6 months of hire and complete program within 36 months (3yrs). All ADN offers need to be approved by the CNO
• With CNO approval: If candidates do not have a BSN Degree but have an ADN, they have a Tuition Free ADN to BSN program! Online takes approx a year!

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a RN in a high acuity PCU or critical care unit, step down or intermediate care - Acute care setting
• Willing to speak with candidates that don't have recent acute care experience. However, as long as it is not like more than 5 years that they have not been in acute care.
• NO TELEMETRY - Must be true stepdown, PCU or intermediate care experience
• MUST have acute care experience in a HOSPITAL
