Residential Electrician / Journeyman — $34–$45/hr DOE, NO On-Call
Tired of being on-call every other week? Tired of crawling through commercial ceilings? Capital Heating, Cooling, Electric & Plumbing is hiring an experienced Electrician for 100% residential work — and zero on-call.
19 years in business. 70 people strong. We're one of the busiest residential shops in metro Milwaukee — which means steady hours, a steady paycheck, and a company that'll still be here building your career a decade from now.
Locally owned and owner-led — not a private-equity rollup. The owner is in the shop every day, working alongside the team. Decisions get made right here, by people you'll actually know — not by an out-of-state fund. Your pay won't get "restructured" to hit someone's margin target, and you'll never be pushed to sell work a customer doesn't need.
What you'll make: $34–$45/hour depending on experience, plus full benefits.
What you'll do: Service changes, panel & service upgrades, EV charger installs, and home remodel/renovation electrical. Variety every day, no two jobs the same.
Your schedule: Monday–Friday. No nights, no weekends on rotation, no on-call phone blowing up your family time.

What we're looking for:
WI Journeyman Electrician license (or close to it)
Solid residential experience
Valid driver's license, clean record
Able to pass a pre-employment drug & background check
Someone who shows up, takes care of the customer, and does clean work
