Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active license required prior to start date Certifications: BLS, PEARS preferred Must-Have: Strongly prefer travel experience Ability to accommodate block scheduling No local candidates accepted Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse in Pediatric Stepdown. Average patient ratio is 1:4. Experience in pediatric units specializing in medical diagnosis is required. Candidates should have skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Care for pediatric patients aged 0-20 with various medical diagnoses. Diagnoses include respiratory illnesses, endocrine disorders, and nephrology cases. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy and social services. Position requires every other weekend coverage. Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. RTO greater than seven days requires approval. Must have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment. Candidates with travel experience in similar specialties will be prioritized.
