Front of House Lead

Front of House Lead Reports to: General Manager Front of House Shift Leads must be energetic and willing to always learn new things. They must be willing to engage our guests and team, and educate them on the culture of Taste of Belgium. FoH leaders are validated in all of the Front of House positions (Host, Barista, Server, Bartender). FoH leads are comfortable with Toast POS management functions, handling guest complaints and coaching team members on their shift. Shift Leads will be taught basic administration for management, how to manage the kitchen and how to submit the commissary order.

Serve safe and accurately prepared food and plates following SoPs Engage our guests: table touch, greet guests and develop relationships Support the success of your team and bistro: get in on the action and do all the extra little things that take a shift from good to great. Handle guest complaints with empathy and actionable change Maintain a cool demeanor during stressful situations Confirm opening, mid and closing checklists are all being performed in both FoH and HoH Keep an open dialogue with your managers Must Haves Able to work days, evenings, weekends Transportation to and from work Interested in a fast-paced exciting work environment Monitoring attendance, tardiness and time off Assigning duties to specific employees based on role and skills Supervising employees and assisting with tasks as necessary Training new and current team members on tasks Handling customer issues and managing conflicts Adhering to company policies and health, safety and employment standards Qualifications Required Previous restaurant or hospitality leadership experience Strong communicator with a team-first mindset Able to lead during busy shifts and manage service flow Comfortable using POS systems and basic software like Excel or Google Sheets Organized, dependable, and proactive Computer proficiency Preferred 6 months in a FOH leadership or keyholder role Strong bar and beverage knowledge Benefits Competitive Pay Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance after 1 year 401k + company match #J-18808-Ljbffr The Press Club Grill
