Registered Nurse, PRN Days

Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care Participate in interdisciplinary planning Coordinate discharge planning Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization Access community resources Work under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or House Supervisor Requirements Holds current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where the hospital resides Current BLS certification is required Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience preferred but not required Tier 2 PRN: provide 6 shift availability per month Tier 3 PRN: provide 8 shift availability per month PRN availability must include 1 full weekend per month, 2 major holidays, and 1 minor holiday Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary planning, and discharge coordination while utilizing the nursing process. Holds current licensure as a Registered Nurse and possesses essential certifications for effective crisis management and patient education.
