Flooring Service & Warranty Coordinator
L & L Flooring & Design – Nashville, TN
L & L Flooring & Design is seeking an experienced and solutions-oriented Flooring Service & Warranty Coordinator to join our team.
This position is responsible for managing customer service requests after a flooring project has been completed and closed. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, communicating with customers, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional experience even after the installation is finished.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers with post-installation concerns, punch work items, and warranty requests.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with customers to understand concerns and determine the best course of action.
- Inspect completed flooring projects and diagnose installation-related issues, material defects, or maintenance concerns.
- Perform minor repairs and touch-ups as needed on hardwood, tile, carpet, laminate, and luxury vinyl flooring.
- Coordinate with the Installation Manager, installers, manufacturers, and vendors to schedule repairs or replacements when necessary.
- Document service requests, findings, and resolutions within company systems.
- Manage multiple service tickets simultaneously while maintaining timely follow-up and communication.
- Work to resolve customer concerns efficiently while protecting company standards and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Identify recurring issues and provide feedback to improve installation quality and processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of flooring installation, service, or project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of hardwood, tile, carpet, laminate, and luxury vinyl flooring products and installation methods.
- Ability to diagnose flooring failures, installation deficiencies, and product-related issues.
- Experience performing flooring repairs and punch work preferred.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and mobile devices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
