Understand customer needs and validate solutions – Product Manager is the internal voice of the customer for the ART and works with customers to constantly understand and communicate their needs and participate in the validation of the proposed solutions.
Develop and communicate the program vision and roadmap – Product Manager continuously develops and communicates the vision to the development teams and defines the features of the system.
Participate in PI planning – During each PI planning session, Product Manager presents the vision, which highlights the proposed features of the solution, along with any relevant upcoming milestones.
Work with System Architect/Engineering to understand Enabler work. While Product Manager is not expected to drive technological decisions, they are expected to understand the scope of the upcoming enabler work and to work with System and Solution Architect/Engineering to assist with decision-making and sequencing of the technological infrastructures that will host the new business functionality.
Participate, Inspect and Accept demos.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Completed work is reviewed for desired results from a relatively long-term perspective.
- Guides the successful completion of aspects of major programs and may function in a project leadership role. Erroneous decisions or recommendations may result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives.
- Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
An Ideal Candidate Would Have:
- Minimum Bachelors in Technology related field, or equivalent education and related training/certifications.
- 3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, and Google) and articulating and prioritizing business needs in a technical release train.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Aptitude to develop and maintain internal and external business relationships and to leverage those relationships in pursuit of goals and responsibilities.
Excellent analytical skills to analyze and evaluate technical information
