Bookkeeper Accounting Assistant

Accounting Assistant responsibilities: The Accounting Assistant will assist the Financial Manager with accurate financial records and administrative tasks. Staff Accountant prepares reports by compiling information and utilizing accurate accounting procedures in addition to preparing payroll for a multi-state construction business. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and financial record-keeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Process accounts payable transactions Prepare customer invoices and job costing Generate financial reports for management review Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries and account reconciliations Research and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis Assist with month end closing Assist with multi-state payroll and tax filings Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: 5+ experience in Accounting Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles Proficiency in payroll processing and tax regulations Technical accounting skills, including the ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software Excellent attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 $52,500.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: Hybrid remote in Alpharetta, GA 30004 Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr WK Industrial Services Corp
