Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) Technician - GI Lab Full Time Days Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032 Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours weekly, Day shift, requires after hour on-call shifts, averaging 8 monthly including call shifts on the weekends Surgery Perioperative Services Department Highlights: Highly skilled, dedicated employees. Here’s What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent required 1 year of GI clinical experience required Previous ERCP experience preferred BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurse. Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently. Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk. Documents accurately and appropriately. Assists in admission/transfer/discharge. In collaboration/consultation with nurse, adapts care to reflect age-specific and developmental considerations. Supports and meets regulatory requirements.
