The Gary Mercer Team is entering an exciting period of growth, and we’re looking for a Recruiting Director who can do more than find talent. We’re looking for someone who can attract great real estate professionals, develop the agents already on the team, and help drive the organization forward.

This is not a traditional HR recruiting role .

You’ll combine agent acquisition, sales leadership, coaching, and team development in one high-impact position. You’ll spend time building relationships with prospective agents, selling the opportunity, and growing the recruiting pipeline, while also working closely with the existing team to improve performance, accountability, and production.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, confident on the phone, comfortable prospecting, and energized by competition and measurable results. Just as importantly, you know how to coach people, hold them accountable, and bring out their best.

You enjoy the pursuit of great talent, but you’re equally motivated by helping the people you recruit become successful. You can confidently make the call to a prospective agent, lead a recruiting conversation, coach an agent through a performance challenge, and rally the team around a bigger goal.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)

• On-Target Earnings: $150,000 - $200,000

• Performance-based bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Lead the recruitment strategy to attract top real estate talent and expand our team.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective agents through proactive outreach and networking.
• Conduct engaging recruitment conversations, showcasing the benefits of joining our team.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify talent needs and align recruitment efforts with business goals.
• Coach and mentor new and existing agents to enhance their performance and career growth.
• Foster a supportive team environment that encourages collaboration and accountability.
• Analyze recruitment metrics to refine strategies and improve the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.

Qualifications:

• Experience in real estate recruitment, with a focus on agent acquisition and retention.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current agents.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding recruitment and sales targets.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively present and sell the value of our team.
• Comfortable with outbound prospecting and frequent phone conversations to build a robust pipeline.
• Ability to coach and mentor agents at various production levels, fostering growth and accountability.
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic growth initiatives within a real estate context is a plus, but not required.
