1587 Prime is a contemporary American steakhouse built in partnership with Kansas City legends Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. Since 2025, the restaurant has embraced the bold, spirited essence of Kansas City, offering an elevated take on familiar, approachable dishes that feel both refined and deeply rooted in local tradition. Our culinary program is driven by ultra high‑quality, locally sourced ingredients that highlight the city’s heritage while honoring the timeless culture of classic steakhouses. Every dish is crafted with intention, blending Kansas City’s rich flavors with elevated technique. Spanning nearly 10,000 square feet across two floors inside the iconic Loews Hotel Kansas City, 1587 Prime features multiple private dining rooms, a world‑class chef’s kitchen, and an immersive dining atmosphere designed to feel sophisticated and welcoming. From the first bite to the final moment, 1587 Prime embodies the energy, pride, and flavor of Kansas City, where elevated dining meets the heartbeat of the city. The Food Runner plays a key role in maintaining the flow of service between the kitchen and the front‑of‑house team, ensuring all food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and at the proper temperature. This position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and extensive menu knowledge to confidently describe each dish, including modifications, upon delivery. Food Runners contribute to smooth service flow by supporting timely service, maintaining presentation standards, and assisting with table maintenance throughout the dining experience. Key Responsibilities Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to guests, accurately identifying each dish and verifying order details and modifications Maintain clear and consistent communication between the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to support smooth service flow Ensure all food is served at the appropriate temperature and in accordance with presentation standards Support table maintenance by assisting with clearing and resetting dishes and utensils as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with all health and safety regulations Proactively anticipate the needs of Servers, kitchen staff, and guests during service Qualifications Previous experience in a fine‑dining or full‑service restaurant environment preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to follow verbal instructions provided in English and assist with guest needs or concerns Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand for the duration of assigned shifts and lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, disability, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Prime
