Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – West Virginia

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend required, 13-week contract

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with 1:6 patient ratio on nights
• 24-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric populations
• EMR system: Meditech experience required
• Floating may be required per facility rotation and policy
• 12-hour orientation provided with comprehensive interdisciplinary team support
• Holiday coverage shared on rotating team schedule

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS; ACLS required (non-AHA certifications accepted; Instructor, Provider, and RQI formats accepted)
• Proficiency with Meditech charting system
• Competencies in telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, cardiac drip management, blood product administration, wound care, and isolation precautions
• Experience with CVA patients, dysrhythmia interpretation, feeding tube management, and central/PICC line care preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• Completion of required lab work within 72 hours of contract signing
