Logistics Management Specialist, Senior

As a Logistics Management Specialist, Senior you will be part of the Global Logistics Augmentation and Support Services (GLASS) team supporting Army Sustainment Command (ASC) in Djibouti. In this role, you will: Responsibilities Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets (technical data packages, exhibits, diagrams, etc.), screen requirements for completeness and accuracy, and suitability. Provide recommendations to the Branch Chief and/or requiring activity. Provide status reports and updates to the Government on all requirements, current and emerging. Provide technical assistance, training, and information to customers, Government staff, and others on the requirements packet generation, requirement reviews, validation process, performance metrics, and project schedules. Perform technical reviews and analysis of contractor estimates/proposals submitted in response to Project Planning Requests (PPRs) and change proposals on service contract task orders. Monitor theater logistical priorities through attendance at daily operations and staff meetings. Lead portions of meetings in support of logistics to requiring activity (as required). Maintain continuous liaison with requiring activities, performance contractors, contracting officials and program staff within the AOR/PMO. Perform in-depth analysis of the performance contractor’s monthly workload to determine the previous quarter’s workload and projections for following quarters. Review analysis projections and consider anticipated adjustments such as troop surge or seasonal requirements not reflected in monthly workload data. Prepare monitoring reports, briefings, and information papers on contractor project schedules, performance metrics, project planning estimates, Letters of Technical Direction (LOTDs), changing requirements and COPs. Provide recommendations to current and changing operations requirements, PWS revisions, and emerging missions or changes in mission or environment. Perform in-depth research and analysis of emerging missions, policies, procedures, regulations, directives, or related issues. Qualifications Active or Current Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship. Ability to be approved for deployment to Djibouti via CRC if not already within the AFRICOM AOR. Bachelor’s degree. 5 years of experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics and acquisition activities or similar/related experience. 5 years of experience with pre-award procurement activities including: analyzing and documenting requirements; recommending revisions to performance work statements or specifications; procurement/project planning/management; tracking and monitoring procurement activities to ensure compliance with DoD policy, procedures, regulations, and statutes. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to report to work onsite 5 times a week. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time and independently travel to remote locations and provide site survey estimates for emerging requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr Serco
