Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Ambulatory OR)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 4:00 PM) or 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | No weekends | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a 9-OR ambulatory operating room environment
• Support surgical cases across a range of specialties including Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology
• Float within the perioperative facility as needed to meet patient care demands
• Complete cases during one late week per four-week period as required
• May be required to precept care team members within the operating room setting
• During hurricane season (June–November), may be assigned to emergency response teams as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN License or valid Compact Nursing License
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by parent staffing company)
• No first-time travelers accepted for this role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in one or more of the following specialties: Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, or Surgical Oncology
• Prior experience precepting or mentoring care team members in an OR setting
