Job Description Job Description The Customer Service Representative serves as a key liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure accurate order processing, on-time deliveries, and clear communication across Sales, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Production teams. This role supports daily customer requirements, EDI order management, shipment coordination, and system updates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ensure customer delivery requirements are met by monitoring production schedules, shipments, and order fulfillment
Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, sales operations, warehouse staff, purchasing, and production teams
Apprise internal teams of new model launches, part changes, and updated customer requirements
Review customer shipping requirements (production and service) and prepare accurate pick lists for warehouse staff
Coordinate special, urgent, or expedited shipments as required to meet customer deadlines
Monitor and update customer portals for shortages, delivery changes, and order status updates
Assist in setting up new part numbers, customer profiles, and ship-to locations in company systems
Manually enter customer requirements not received through EDI (including production, service, R&D, and special orders)
Work closely with the IT Manager to identify, troubleshoot, and correct EDI errors or system issues
Maintain organized records of orders, communications, and delivery confirmations
Support continuous improvement efforts to improve order accuracy and customer satisfaction
