PROGRAM MANAGER - COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall provision of services to clients in the agency's Community Programs. The Program Manager supports the successful integration of treatment services for all clients and all issues related to contract compliance. The Program Manager is expected to exercise independent professional judgement and discretion in the leadership of the program and demonstrates a commitment to services and values of the agency. The Program Manager reports directly to the assigned Director.

DUTIES

QUALITY: Assumes primary responsibility for the coordination, quality of program treatment services and outcomes. SUPERVISION: Provides direct supervision of all Clinical Supervisors and clinical staff to ensure coordinated and effective program operations. SUPPORT: Provides supportive guidance by way of regular participation in program meetings to assure conformance to agency standards. MEETINGS: Facilitates and/or assists/attends staff meetings, in-service training and conferences as scheduled. ACCOUNTABILITY: Works with supervisors to monitor staff's economy of time and accountability of service and to ensure that all documentation, reports and case records are thoroughly and properly completed on time. QI: Regularly meets with Quality assurance staff and delegates responsibility for implementation of necessary program adjustments. Conducts periodic, regular internal audits of files; ensures quality control of reports and outcome measures. COMPLIANCE: Oversees the development or modification of procedures to ensure compliance with the contract and fidelity to the model. FISCAL: Monitors fiscally related aspects of the program including compliance to program budget and fiscal goals. ETHICS: Performs all duties within appropriate scope and boundaries and with application of legal and ethical standards. ORIENTATION AND TRAINING: Conducts employment interviews and orients all new staff, ensuring that all staff have the training to competently perform the duties of their position. EVALUATIONS AND DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS: Demonstrates the ability to fairly evaluate staff and provide them with the input necessary to improve performance. Assures that disciplinary actions are conducted with fairness and respect and focused on the improvement of the employee. EMPLOYEE RELATIONS: Demonstrates respect for the intrinsic value of each person, their individual differences and culture. Is capable of accurately identifying and building on the strengths of employees to better reach their potential. Is approachable and accessible in responding to staff's issues and concerns. OTHER: Performs other duties when assigned by the Program Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Degree and valid California professional license as an LMFT, LCSW, PsyD or Clinical Psychologist. Five years supervisory experience in a comparable mental health setting.
