Manager-Fund AccountingHybrid-Wilmington, DEMonday to Friday 9 am to 6 pmSome of the things you will be doing:Assist in managing client relationshipsReview accounting records, supporting schedules, and financial reports for assigned clientsReview cash activity, including journal entries and wire transfers, ensuring accuracy and timelinessReview investment activity, such as purchases and sales, and interest accruals/incomeReview comprehensive workpapers that fully reconcile and support the trial balanceReview IRS Form 1099 in compliance with regulatory requirementsAbility to prepare all above bullets if neededEnsure standard procedures and controls are adhered toCommunicate with clients to obtain information, resolve inquiries, and provide status updatesCoordinate deliverables with client and internal teamsEnsure all processes are in line with the SLA and escalate when neededSupport the year end audit process as well as SOC 1 audit and SBA examCareer development, supervision, and training of staffLead/Participate in projects focused on improving operational efficiency, including automation of Excel-based calculations and enhancement of workpaper processesEnsure that best practices are used by fund accounting teamPerform internal tasks, including mandatory training and time trackingWhat technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?BS Degree in Accounting - CPA or CPA candidate a plus Experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting requiredWorking knowledge of US GAAPAdvanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges) Investran and Geneva experience a plusProficient in delegating responsibilities, mentoring staff, and overseeing team performance.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and client-focused approachAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsExperience managing client relationships#LI-SP1#HYBRID#FUNDACCOUNTINGCSC is a global business, legal, and financial services company based in Wilmington, Delaware, USA, providing knowledge-based solutions to clients worldwide.
