Deaconess Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

Deaconess Health System, a nationally ranked health system, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join our dynamic and growing team at Deaconess Union County Hospital in Anna, Illinois.

Educational Requirement: BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician

Opportunity Highlights:

• Approximately 8,800 annual visits (20-25 patients/shift)
• 24-hour physician shifts
• Full-time = 6 shifts/month (1,728 hours/year)
• Holiday coverage required
• Robust hospital-employed physician group with full-time and supplemental physician support
• EPIC EMR system for seamless documentation
• Requirement Prior EM experience and/or EM fellowship training is required.
• J-1 Visa candidates are welcome to apply

Compensation & Benefits:

• Average annual compensation is $200 per hour with the opportunity to earn up to $400,000
• Up to $164,000 in additional incentives, including:
• $50,000 sign-on bonus
• $75,000 student loan forgiveness
• $24,000 educational assistance
• $15,000 relocation allowance
• Comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance; 401(k) and 457(b) retirement plans; CME allowance and paid CME time
