minimum of 3 years of recent full time experience as a Perioperative Care Center RN in a high volume hospital setting, with demonstrated proficiency in postoperative/post procedure phases of patient care. The PACU RN evaluates patients’ responses to treatment and interventions and manages pain according to the American Society of Peri-Anesthesia Nurses (ASPAN).
