Manufacturing Inspection Associate - 12 hour Shift - Rotating Days

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Production Inspection Tech role at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Stafford Springs facility, supporting manufacturing operations in the Filtration Solutions Division. The position involves equipment operation, quality testing, material inspection, and packing on a 12-hour rotating schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

Support line operators in production equipment operation using work instructions and judgment
Perform quality tests and maintain accurate records during production runs
Inspect, process, and pack materials coming off production lines
Stop production when safety, equipment, or product quality issues arise
Maintain clean work areas and properly label all products

Requirements

Ability to lift 40 pounds without assistance
Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards
Corrective vision (glasses); contact lenses not permitted
Tolerance for hazardous materials, temperature fluctuations, and loud equipment noise
Capability to stand for full shifts and work rotating day/weekend schedules
