Job Summary:
Every sunday off, Major holiday's off, Thanksgiving, Christamas, and New Years Day!
The DIALYSIS UPPORT TECHNICIAN assists PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN with the deliverance and coordination of hemodialysis therapy, involving preparation of the patient, equipment, and supplies associated with such therapy, as well as all other relevant duties and those assigned by the Clinic Manager.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
· Preparation of dialysis equipment for the performance of hemodialysis
· · Preparation of bicarbonate for treatment
· Keep tatment room stations stocked with adequate supplies for the day’s
· Responds to patient needs: emergency situations, bedpans, and transportation
· Maintain the confidentiality of all Practice information regarding patients, coworkers and physicians
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Must possess ability to communicate effectively and express ideas clearly and concisely as this position requires frequent contact with patients, physicians, and nursing staff
· Must possess ability to meet physical demands of the position. These include, but are not limited to, constant sitting, standing, bending, lifting and moving. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
Must have highschool diploma or GED
