ATS is seeking a Structural EIT in our Austin, TX office to support residential and light commercial projects throughout Central Texas.

The successful candidate will be interested in growing as a structural engineer while working alongside experienced engineers and drafters. This role supports projects including single-family homes, townhouses, light commercial buildings, tenant finish-outs, foundations, framing and related structural elements.

Job Activities Include

·        Structural analysis and design for residential and light commercial projects

·        Foundation, framing and structural element design

·        Preparation of calculations, design documents and engineering support materials

·        Coordination with engineers, drafters, clients and project stakeholders

·        Support for multiple projects while meeting deadlines and client expectations

Specific Requirements:

·        Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an Accredited University. Engineering with a structural focus a plus.

·        Master’s degree or E.I.T. certification in Texas is a plus

·        Experience with building structures, wood or steel framing, and concrete foundation design is preferred

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills

·        Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate clearly with supervisors and project teams

·        Experience with RISA, Enercalc, Excel or similar design tools is preferred
