Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the stepdown unit, managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
• Titrate cardiac and medication drips including Cardizem, amiodarone, and nitro as needed.
• Interpret and monitor telemetry strips to ensure patient safety and proper care.
• Contribute to a fast-paced unit with effective admissions and discharges.
• Float to ICU when appropriate and experienced to handle higher acuity patients.
• Adhere to facility policies, supporting a safe and compliant care environment.

Qualifications

• Valid and active RN license to practice.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with telemetry and critical care patient management.
• Ability to float between stepdown and ICU units as required.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Driver's license required; compliance with a 50-mile radius rule.
