Job Description

Job Summary:
Assist in performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to support accurate diagnoses across diverse patient populations. Ensure adherence to safety standards and departmental protocols throughout all imaging processes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to perform imaging exams with precision and efficiency.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address any concerns.
• Administer contrast agents and intravenous therapies as required for imaging exams.
• Ensure accurate documentation, including informed consent and procedural notes.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any technical issues promptly.
• Follow safety procedures to minimize risks to patients and staff during imaging.

Qualifications:

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, with graduate credentials from an accredited Radiology program.
• Possess ARRT/NYSDOH Certification and current BLS certification.
• Be licensed to perform CT imaging in the state of practice.
• Demonstrate specialized training in CT technology and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Have experience with intravenous injections and contrast administration.
