This position offers a unique schedule, working 3.5 days each week, giving you extended flexibility and balance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for practice in Michigan
• Previous experience or clinical training in a K-12 educational setting preferred
• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school documentation protocols
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and creative problem-solving abilities with diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities
• Maintain thorough records, progress reports, and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations
• Provide training and resources to school staff and families as needed
