Location and Work Environment Cripple Creek, CO, 80860. The position is site-based. The Cripple Creek & Victor (CC&V) Mine site is located at elevations ranging from approximately 9,400 ft to 10,600 ft above sea level. Workers in this position are routinely exposed to conditions at various work sites throughout this range of elevations and must be physically capable of working at this altitude. Weather conditions can change frequently and may become severe. Ability to complete work tasks while exposed to weather conditions and elevation is required. About this role Your role will consist of Review and approve mine plans (short and long-term). Maintain adequate feed for process plants (mill and leach plants). Coordinate maintenance of equipment with the Maintenance Department. Work closely with Engineering, Geology, Environmental, HSLP, and Human Resources Departments to ensure best practices and optimal production. Specify equipment fleet required to meet production goals. Monitor and control mining costs. Budget and evaluate equipment and production options. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports. Write technical AFE's for equipment purchases. Ensure compliance with State and Federal laws. Assist with the evaluation of capital projects. Assist with hiring, training, Leadership Pipeline review process, disciplinary, mentoring, line‑of‑progression, and other personnel‑related actions. Oversee meetings and training in all areas for all levels of maintenance personnel. Training, Skills and Experience Education: Bachelor’s Degree and twelve (12) years’ experience or seventeen (17) years mining experience. Working Conditions & Location Where you will be located!
