Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Position: Obstetrician & Gynecologist (OB/GYN) Physician (Full-Scope) Location: Queens, New York (NYC area) Position Type: Full-time, employed Overview A large, mission-driven teaching hospital in Queens, NY, affiliated with a leading New York City medical school, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible OB/GYN to join an established department providing comprehensive women's health services to a highly diverse and underserved patient population. This is a full-scope OB/GYN opportunity with an academic component, supportive colleagues, and a call schedule designed to be sustainable. Clinical Responsibilities Provide full-scope OB/GYN care, including:Labor & Delivery coverageOutpatient women's healthGYN surgery (minimally invasive capabilities welcomed; not required)Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered careParticipate in department initiatives focused on quality, safety, and patient experience Academic / Teaching Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical studentsOpportunity for an academic faculty appointment commensurate with credentials and experience Department & Practice Highlights Approximately 1,300 deliveries annuallyTeam includes 13 attending physicians with subspecialty support (including MFM, Urogynecology, and MIGS)Robotic surgery available (not required) Schedule & Call Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PMCall: minimum 2 shifts per month (1 weekday + 1 weekend day)Additional call shifts may be available based on departmental need and your interest Compensation & Benefits Comprehensive benefits package, including:4 weeks PTO30 days sick leave12 paid holidays2 weeks CME + $2,000 CME allowanceRetirement plans including a 403(b) with 10% employer contribution after 12 months and an additional 457(b) optionSupportive environment focused on physician well-being and work-life balance Qualifications MD/DOBoard Certified / Board Eligible in OB/GYNEligible for New York State medical licensureDEA and Medicaid enrollment/eligibility consistent with role requirementsStrong clinical skills, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality patient careInterest in teaching and working in a diverse, urban academic setting How to Apply If you are interested in a full-scope OB/GYN role combining clinical work with teaching in a collegial academic environment, please submit your CV for confidential consideration Salary: The posted range is not a guarantee.
