Desired qualifications and skills:

• Valid Physical Therapist license (or eligibility) for the state
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred
• Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions for diverse student populations
• Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, support staff, and families
• Professional, compassionate communicator dedicated to student-centered care and evidence-based practice

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ motor and functional needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in accordance with IEPs
• Provide direct therapy both individually and in group settings during the school day
• Document services, progress, and communications in compliance with school and district guidelines
• Educate and collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to ensure carryover of skills and adaptations within classroom routines
