Bachman’s Marketing team has an opening for a Marketing and Events Assistant. The position seeks someone to support the marketing and website team in their strategy and assist with execution to achieve their goals. Job Duties: This role supports the Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications and assists with planning and executing events, workshops, community outreach initiatives, and business partnerships. Supports public relations projects, ensuring coordination and consistent brand voice. Manages bookings and communication for the Bachman’s Heritage Room event space. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 4-year degree in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent experience. Background in Marketing, Public Relations, or Community Engagement. Familiarity with event planning software and CRM tools. Horticultural knowledge and a love of plants is strongly desired. Excellent writing, editing (photo, video, copy), and consulting skills. Strong presenting and communication skills. Excellent prioritization and organization skills. Ability to work across departments and independently to meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Weekends and longer hours are needed during events and holidays.
