Senior Accountant

Senior Managers lead sizable client relationships and successful communications strategies, delivering exceptional results and strategic counsel. In addition to account management, senior managers are pivotal to the organization, managing and mentoring team members, contributing to business growth, and ensuring financial excellence. What We're Looking For We are looking for a communications professional who understands how health, wellness, medicine, and culture intersect, and how brands can authentically show up in consumers' daily lives. Key Qualities Include Ideal candidates have experience working across health & wellness, consumer lifestyle, sports and entertainment brands. Deep understanding of the evolving health & wellness landscape, including consumer health trends, preventative wellness, lifestyle medicine, and culturally relevant storytelling. Strong media relationships across health, wellness, lifestyle, sports, entertainment, and business press. Passion for health & wellness‑driven storytelling. Passion for communicating to Hispanic audiences. Responsibilities Oversee the development of award‑winning earned media and influencer plans as well as activations and tentpoles. Ensure the success of client programming, including campaigns, activations, and partnerships, providing strategic counsel to the team. Oversee day‑to‑day client projects to ensure deadline and budget adherence, setting client expectations for the team; accountable for client satisfaction within all projects managed. Develop strategic earned media and influencer communication plans backed by insights, timelines, and budget estimates. Support the strategic communications planning process and lead in presenting ideas to the client. Review and edit media materials – pitches, bios, infographics, case studies, backgrounders, and media lists – to ensure they are robust and detailed. Identify potential issues and conflicts and step in for problem‑solving as needed. Actively contribute to new business processes; assist in the preparation of new business proposals, RFPs, and budgets. Identify organic new business opportunities from existing clients. Assist in managing the client's budget, including fees and OOPs. Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage projects to maintain profitability and revenue targets, managing the client's budget and supporting the account lead with effective resource allocation. Inspire, manage, evaluate, develop, and mentor employees. Supervise junior staff to ensure quality and consistency of work. Provide ongoing constructive feedback on performance, compliance, and ethical business conduct. Requirements 7+ years of work experience in a public relations/communications agency. Experience developing highly successful earned media strategies. Deep understanding of today's stakeholders and media landscape. Strong media relations expertise. Strong organizational, people, and project management skills. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
