The Retail Sales Consultant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales performance within a retail environment. Reporting directly to the Store Manager and working as part of a sales team, this position focuses on engaging customers, showcasing products effectively, and supporting overall store success. The role occasionally requires travel to other stores and frequent travel for out-of-store events, offering opportunities for personal growth and advancement.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations
- Present and demonstrate products to highlight features and benefits
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Support visual merchandising efforts to enhance product displays
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in retail sales
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of sales techniques and point of sale (POS) systems
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
