This team is chartered with re-inventing an existing platform through heavy modification and integration of advanced autonomy, mission systems, and payloads. On this team, you will be tackling novel challenges across airframe, structures, avionics, and software from day one. As part of this program, you'll work alongside a tight-knit group of mechanical, structural, electrical, and software engineers, together with Program Leads and the Chief Engineer, all embedded in a single team driving toward major milestones.You will work in a lean, high-ownership culture where the entire vehicle team sits side-by-side, iterating quickly and making decisions in real time. Given the early stage of the program, you will have influence over foundational architecture decisions and the opportunity to redefine an existing platform.ABOUT THE JOBAnduril is seeking a Supply Chain Lead to join the Maneuver Dominance team. The Supply Chain Lead drives the strategic supply network development and cost management of the Maneuver Dominance product portfolio across their lifecycles, by collaborating with suppliers and cross-functionally, including folks in engineering, quality, and manufacturing.WHAT YOU'LL DOConduct supplier selection for a specific product, leveraging our approved supplier listPartner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via activities such as:Concept scoping to quickly solidify requirementsFeature trade-off / trade tablesShould cost / Clean sheet modelsJoint design development, via clear statements of workSimulation of mechanical & electronics designsDrive the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM, working with Quality & Manufacturing, to ramp production internally and with our suppliers with high flexibilityManage the CAPEX throughout NPIConduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibilityComplete the BOM risk assessment, include alternate component sourcing, etc.Ensure completion of all component qualifications, ahead of productionReduce complexity: commonality optimization & component/supplier rationalizationLead all cost engineering activities to converge the bottoms-up cost curve to product cost, maximizing the total cost of ownership (TCO) across the product lifecycleManage ad-hoc cost issues e.g., tariffs / import export cost, and cost inflationREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree or advanced technical degree in mechanical engineeringDeeper experience within:Design & development of electronics and/or mechanical devicesAdvanced sourcing activities, including stints as commodity/sourcing managersSupplier development (technology, process, supply chain, etc.)Early supplier engagement, ahead of product/engineering requirement realizationFamiliarity with developing high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environmentExposure to working in a fast-pace, start-up environmentEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearanceUS Salary Range$132,000—$198,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
