Chemistry Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:30 pm - 8:00 am Wage: Dependent on experience and credential MLT Starting Pay: $28 per hour (plus night shift differential) MLS Starting Pay: $34 per hour (plus night shift differential) It will predominately be within chemistry, but there is the potential to cross train in immunohematology. Qualifications Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Education: Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Certification: ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification or an equivalent credential required. Skills & Expertise: Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail; excellent communication & teamwork; independence & adaptability; ethics & confidentiality. Physical Requirements Stand or sit for extended periods while conducting laboratory testing. Lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds as needed. Distinguish color and pass a vision acuity test in compliance with CAP regulations. This role falls under OSHA Category I, meaning tasks involve potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues.
