Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide compassionate care on a Medsurg unit that includes a blended setting with Swing Bed and PCU patients. The role involves delivering safe, quality care while balancing workload and patient levels of care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to safety protocols and facility policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience in Medsurg, PCU, or ICU settings preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work 7 PM to 7 AM shifts, with flexibility for every other holiday and weekend.
