For more information, please visit We DoThe Chief Financial Officer, Home Warranty Division is responsible for leading the organization’s financial strategy to drive profitability and enhance long-term business performance. The role provides financial and operational insights to help division leaders make strategic decisions.This role has a matrixed reporting relationship to the Corporate Vice President of Finance and the Division President. This position oversees all accounting and financial matters of the Home Warranty division and is a member of the division leadership team.What You’ll Do: Advise executive leadership on key financial, operational, claims, pricing, customer, product, and market trends, and recommend actions to improve profitability, growth, and capital efficiencyLead and manage the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and long-range planning processesPresent financial results, forecasts, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and other internal or external stakeholdersLead the accounting, financial planning and analysis, and financial reporting functionsAnalyze and model business unit, customer segment, claims trends, geography, and product level financial performance to identify margin opportunities and business risksPartner with product, pricing, claims, sales, operations, and marketing leaders to evaluate pricing adequacy, contract profitability, claims trends, service costs, customer retention, and growth initiativesDevelop and maintain appropriate analytical tools and reporting processes to ensure effective and efficient management of resourcesManage the division’s finance and accounting teams with a focus on staff development, accountability, and high performanceSupport strategic initiatives, including new product development, distribution partnerships, technology investments, service network strategy, acquisitions, divestitures, or business transformation effortsServe as an influential finance leader who partners across business lines and functional areas to drive alignment, accountability, and execution on strategic prioritiesEnsure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reporting, and business performance packagesEnsure compliance with applicable regulatory, statutory financial reporting, tax, and contractual requirementsSet divisional allocation policy and methodologyWhat You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA and/or CPA preferred12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including P&L ownership, strategic planning, forecasting, and operational financeExperience in home warranty, insurance, financial services, home services, or other recurring-revenue, claims-driven businesses requiredDemonstrated knowledge of claims, pricing, reserves, recurring revenue models, and financial drivers of service-based businessesProven success leading large, complex, cross-functional organizations in highly matrixed environmentsStrong experience building and developing high-performing finance and accounting teamsDeep understanding of accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and risk managementProven ability to partner with business leaders to drive profitable growth, new revenue streams, and strategic partnershipsTrack record of leading large-scale transformations, system implementations, acquisitions, or organizational change initiativesStrong executive presence, collaboration skills, and ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organizationAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented culture while balancing financial discipline with innovation and commercial thinkingWhile this role is based out of our West Hills office, we are open to fully remote candidates within the U.S.Pay Range: $197,200.00 - $263,000.00 AnnuallyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
