Shift: 1st
Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm (Monday - Friday, Possible Overtime on Sunday)
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Forklift Operator at a company in Janesville, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today!
Forklift Responsibilities:
- Loads and unloads trucks and rail cars
- Moves materials and other products from storage to work areas and vice versa as required
- Breaks packs to correct size and labels material before loading product onto a truck or rail car
- Performs routine post and pre operation inspections to ensure that the forklift is in proper, working condition
- Maintains yard and ensure it is organized and clean
- Completes paperwork as required
Requirements for Forklift:
- Able to sit, stand and walk throughout the entire shift
- Able to climb in and out of the forklift repetitively throughout shift
- Able to bend, squat, reach, push, pull and climb throughout shift
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Basic math skills and able to read a ruler
