Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist, Registered Respiratory Therapist, Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The position provides respiratory care across patient care areas, including emergency and general care settings. Responsibilities include critical care, ventilator management, patient assessment, emergency response, and respiratory care for all age groups.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; National Board for Respiratory Care Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC RRT) credential; active Wisconsin license; associate degree or certificate; at least 2 years of experience; neonatal intensive care unit experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience; bachelors degree.
- Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with variable days, mids, and nights.
- Additional Information: Respiratory therapy services support all patient care areas, including emergency and general care settings. Responsibilities include basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, patient assessment using assess-and-treat protocols, rapid response and code response services, and care for patients across all age groups. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. Closed-toe shoes and clean scrubs are required; scent-free practices and adherence to dress code policies apply.
