Certified Nurse Assistant – Long Term Care

Schedule: Part-Time (2 shifts one week/3 shifts the following week). Must stay through January and be available for full-shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday.

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks: 21

Requirements:

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification Required
• BLS (AHA/RQI) certification required
• One (1) Year of previous Long Term Care experience
• Must be licensed for at least 1 year

Responsibilities:

• Meet residents' Activities of Daily Living (ADL) needs as outlined in the plan of care, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, ensuring safety protocols are followed and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Assist with residents' nutritional needs, including meal delivery and feeding, honoring residents' preferences.
• Support residents in rehabilitative activities as outlined in the plan of care.
• Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial status to nursing staff in a timely manner.
• Follow policies regarding potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
