Registered Nurse - Telemetry

$1591.20/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week travel assignment on a Surgical Telemetry Unit. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, managing post-operative and inpatient telemetry patients, and collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer nursing care to surgical telemetry patients, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to abnormal findings.
  
  
• 
  Participate in patient ambulation, wound care, and other supportive procedures as needed.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the Meditech EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with team members to facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and interdisciplinary communication.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with unit policies, certifications, and dress code standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license and BLS certification required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience, preferably in telemetry.
  
  
• 
  Charge nurse and preceptorship experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate a positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
  
  
• 
  Ability to perform patient ambulation and wound care independently.
  
  
• 
  Knowledge of Meditech EMR system is preferred.
