As we continue expanding our operations, we are seeking an experienced, motivated Construction Sales Executive to help drive revenue growth, develop strategic relationships, and expand our presence throughout Colorado’s construction market.

Position Overview

The Construction Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and securing profitable construction contracts.

The ideal candidate understands the construction industry, has strong relationship-building skills, and is comfortable working directly with builders, developers, general contractors, estimators, and project executives.

This is a growth-oriented position for someone who can independently develop new accounts while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

* Identify and pursue new opportunities in residential, multifamily, commercial, and renovation construction.

* Establish relationships with homebuilders, developers, general contractors, and construction management companies.

* Generate qualified leads and build a consistent pipeline of potential projects.

* Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.

* Develop and execute strategies to expand Longhill Contracting’s market share.

Estimating & Proposal Management

* Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare competitive bids and proposals.

* Review project scopes, specifications, and construction documents.

* Present proposals and negotiate contract terms with prospective clients.

* Follow up on outstanding bids and identify opportunities to improve close rates.

* Ensure awarded projects align with company profitability objectives.

Client Relationship Management

* Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business.

* Serve as a primary point of contact during the sales and preconstruction process.

* Work with operations teams to ensure smooth project transitions.

* Address client concerns promptly and professionally.

* Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.

Sales Performance & Reporting

* Maintain accurate records of prospects, opportunities, bids, and awarded contracts in the company’s CRM.

* Develop and manage a sales pipeline with measurable revenue targets.

* Track bid volume, win rates, and new customer acquisition.

* Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates to leadership.

* Coordinate with management to prioritize profitable growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Required

* Proven experience in construction sales, business development, or account management.

* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

* Ability to develop new business relationships and independently manage a sales pipeline.

* Understanding of construction bidding, project scopes, and contract negotiations.

* Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

* Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the Denver Metropolitan Area.

* Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.

Preferred

* Experience in drywall, metal framing, painting, or interior construction.

* Established relationships with residential builders, multifamily developers, or commercial general contractors.

* Experience working with construction estimating and operations teams.

* Familiarity with construction plans, specifications, and bid processes.

* Demonstrated success securing commercial or residential construction contracts.
