RTV Returns Inspector - McDonough, GA

RTV RETURNS INSPECTOR – Techtronic Industries, NA (TTI) Position responsible for inspecting and analyzing returned product components to determine credit eligibility and ensuring compliance with return policies. Responsibilities Inspect and analyze the returned product for credit eligibility. Verify purchase date and determine if the return is within the Customer Satisfaction period (30 days for outdoor power, 90 days for power tools). If no purchase date, use the TTI grace period (24 months from product date code). Inspect the product for customer abuse or misuse. Ensure all major parts are included in the return (major parts list supplied). Record the status (credit/no credit) of each product inspected. Maintain constant communication with The Home Depot associates working in the facility. Clearly communicate the product status and reason for the decision to The Home Depot associates for all products inspected. Strive to meet company goals of continual improvement in knowledge, skills, processes, and quality. Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary. Compensation and Benefits Salary: non‑exempt position (overtime eligible). Starting salary: $18.03/hour, Target annual salary of $37,502. Medical, vision, and dental benefits available. 401(k) with 50% company match up to 8% of salary. Up to 10 paid holidays (based on hire date). Accrue up to 104 hours of PTO - 1st year (based on hire date). Education and Experience Requirements Equivalent education: 2 year degree or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Experience: 1–2 years in a related field. Knowledge: Working knowledge of power tools and/or outdoor power equipment, including design and use; familiarity with inspection and analysis techniques.
