As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support security-related operations through routine observations and reporting while working collaboratively with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, offices, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, documenting visitor activity and escalating discrepancies as appropriate.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
