We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to lead and support Industrial Engineering activities within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for workforce planning, labor standards, capacity analysis, manufacturing layouts, line balancing, NPI support, productivity improvement, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong Industrial Engineering experience along with hands-on experience leading engineers or technical teams and working cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing Engineering, and NPI teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of Industrial Engineers and IE Technicians supporting manufacturing operations.
Develop and maintain labor standards, staffing models, time studies, and work measurement systems .
Perform workforce planning and labor calculations based on production demand and operational requirements.
Conduct capacity analysis and resource planning to support production requirements.
Support production readiness assessments for new and existing manufacturing programs.
Design and optimize manufacturing layouts using AutoCAD and SolidWorks .
Conduct line balancing and process flow analysis to improve efficiency and throughput.
Utilize FlexSim or similar simulation software to evaluate manufacturing scenarios.
Perform ergonomic assessments and workstation evaluations to improve safety and efficiency.
Support NPI activities , including labor planning, capacity assessments, layout development, and manufacturing readiness.
Identify and implement productivity improvement initiatives focused on labor efficiency, throughput, and waste reduction.
Support CapEx justifications, labor savings calculations, and productivity analysis .
Collaborate with Finance on labor forecasting, budgeting, and cost-reduction initiatives.
Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and Facilities teams to resolve operational challenges.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coach, mentor, and develop Industrial Engineering team members.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management , or a related discipline.
5 8 years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
2 5 years of experience leading engineers, technicians, or technical teams .
Experience with labor standards, time studies, workforce planning, and work measurement .
Knowledge of MOST, MODAPTS, MTM , or similar work measurement methodologies.
Experience with manufacturing capacity and resource planning .
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for manufacturing/facility layout development.
Strong experience with line balancing, process flow, and productivity improvement .
Experience supporting NPI and manufacturing launches .
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies.
Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional manufacturing teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Raptor, STATIS, ARCH , or similar workforce/labor management systems.
Experience with FlexSim or similar manufacturing simulation tools .
Experience conducting ergonomic assessments and workstation evaluations .
Experience with manufacturing layout optimization.
Experience with labor efficiency improvement and productivity initiatives .
Experience with CapEx analysis and labor savings calculations .
Experience with labor forecasting and budgeting.
Experience with production readiness assessments.
Experience managing or mentoring Industrial Engineering Technicians .
Electronics, PCBA, EMS, automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, medical device, or other high-volume manufacturing experience.
Lean Six Sigma certification or experience.
SAP/ERP experience and Value Stream Mapping knowledge.
